Notice of Hearing

The Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) will conduct a public hearing to provide an opportunity for citizens to review and comment upon the preliminary draft of the 2022 Action Plan of the 2019 – 2023 Kansas Consolidated Plan. The Consolidated Plan is the state’s policy framework for federal community development and housing programs.

Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, a public hearing will be held digitally. To join the hearing from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2021, go to https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/878860341. You may use your device’s audio or call 1-786-535-3211, conference ID 878-860-341#. The public hearing will be conducted to receive comments on the proposed amended Consolidated Plan and Action Plan located at http://www.kshousingcorp.org. The proposed Action Plan will be available for public examination beginning October 1, 2021, at http://www.kshousingcorp.org. Hard copies will be available upon request. The public comment period ends October 31, 2021.

Estimated resources available in 2022 will include approximately $15,653,422 from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), $6,183,639 from the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), $4,207,374 from the Housing Trust Fund (HFT), $1,654,437 from the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and $642,139 from the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) programs. Individuals with disabilities or limited English proficiency are welcome to attend and participate in the public hearing.
